how to arrange a 12-week project timeline for your Chinaplas 2026 preparations ?

As we are currently in late January 2026, we are officially entering the “Golden 12-Week Window” for Chinaplas 2026 (April 21–24).

Because 2026 is the year of the Horse, and the Chinese New Year (February 17, 2025) falls right in the middle of this preparation period, timing is more critical than usual. Factories in China will close for roughly 2 weeks in February, making the next few weeks the “make or break” period for your booth.

Here is a professional 12-week timeline you can share with your clients to ensure a stress-free experience with Panda Expo China.

Chinaplas 2026: 12-Week Countdown to Success

Phase 1: Strategy & Design (Weeks 12–10)

  • Week 12 (Jan 26 – Feb 1): Finalize Concept & Contractor

    • Goal: Select your booth builder (Panda Expo) and lock in the 3D design.

    • Panda Expo Action: We finalize your layout, material specs, and quote to ensure all supplies are ordered before the holiday shutdown.

  • Week 11 (Feb 2 – Feb 8): Technical Approval & Early Bird Services

    • Goal: Submit booth drawings for Adsale (organizer) approval.

    • Panda Expo Action: We handle the “Technical Drawing Submission” to the NECC venue to avoid late-filing surcharges.

Phase 2: The CNY Buffer (Weeks 9–8)

  • Week 10 (Feb 9 – Feb 15): Pre-Holiday Procurement

    • Goal: Secure all custom materials (special LED tiles, unique fabrics, or machinery).

  • Week 9 (Feb 16 – Feb 22): CHINESE NEW YEAR (Holiday Week)

    • Status: Most factories are closed.

    • Panda Expo Action: Our project managers remain your point of contact for marketing collateral and graphic design approvals while the physical production pauses.

Phase 3: Production & Fabrication (Weeks 7–4)

  • Week 8 (Feb 23 – Mar 1): Factory Restart

    • Goal: Production begins in our Shanghai workshop.

  • Week 7 (Mar 2 – Mar 8): Graphic Finalization

    • Goal: Send high-resolution print files for banners, lightboxes, and backdrops.

    • Deadline Note: March 8 is usually the deadline for “Early Bird” on-site service orders (electricity, water, internet).

  • Week 6 (Mar 9 – Mar 15): Mid-Stage Review

    • Goal: Review photos of the booth structure being pre-built in the workshop.

  • Week 5 (Mar 16 – Mar 22): Logistics & Shipping

    • Goal: If you are shipping products or machines from overseas, they should be arriving at the Shanghai port now to clear customs.

Phase 4: Final Countdown (Weeks 3–1)

  • Week 4 (Mar 23 – Mar 29): Staffing & Engagement

    • Goal: Finalize your on-site team, book translators, and order catering/hospitality supplies.

  • Week 3 (Mar 30 – Apr 5): Finishing Touches

    • Goal: Final quality check on all printed materials and AV equipment.

  • Week 2 (Apr 6 – Apr 12): Logistics Prep

    • Goal: Booth components are packed into crates and ready for transport to the NECC.

  • Week 1 (Apr 13 – Apr 20): Move-in & Construction

    • Action: The “Build Days” (usually Apr 18-20).

    • Panda Expo Action: We manage the on-site build, electrical connections, and hand over the “Key-Ready” booth to you on the evening of April 20th.

SHOW WEEK: April 21 – 24, 2026

  • Live Support: Panda Expo provides on-site maintenance throughout the show to ensure every light and screen works perfectly.

Why this timeline matters for your clients:

  1. Beats the CNY Shutdown: By starting now, they avoid the “post-holiday rush” where prices spike and materials run out.

  2. Saves Money: Meeting Adsale’s “Early Bird” deadlines for venue services can save up to 20-30% on utility costs.

  3. Stress Management: Your clients can focus on their sales strategy while Panda Expo China handles the complex Chinese bureaucracy and logistics.
