Key Requirements for Construction Worker Pass Application

• Application Subject: Only authorized and qualified stand builders (recognized by the exhibition center) are eligible to apply for construction worker passes on behalf of their staff. Individual construction personnel cannot apply directly <superscript id=”12″>2.
• Identity Verification Materials: When applying, the stand builder must provide the personal identification documents of each construction worker for the exhibition center’s verification:
  • Chinese citizens: Original and copy of a valid second-generation ID card <superscript id=”12″>2.

• Age Restriction: Many exhibition centers (especially large venues in first-tier cities like Shanghai and Beijing) have age limits for construction workers, typically not allowing workers over 60 years old to enter the venue for construction work. • Additional Application Materials: In addition to identity documents, authorized builders may also need to submit supplementary materials as required by the exhibition center, such as the builder’s business license, safety commitment letter, authorization letter from the legal person, and proof of construction liability insurance <superscript id=”12″>2. 3. General Rules for Venue Access During Setup Period

• Entry Time Compliance: Personnel must enter and exit the venue within the official setup time announced by the exhibition center. Overtime work (if necessary) requires advance application to the venue management department and the organizer, and additional overtime fees will be incurred <superscript id=”5″>1.
• Safety Equipment Requirement: During the setup period, all construction personnel must wear safety helmets when entering the venue. For high-altitude operations (above 2 meters), additional safety measures such as safety belts and steel scaffolding are mandatory; ladders higher than 2 meters are generally prohibited <superscript id=”5″>1.
• Vehicle Access Matching: If construction materials or equipment need to be transported into the venue, the authorized builder must apply for a vehicle entry pass in advance. Vehicles can only enter through the designated entrance at the reserved time slot. • Inspection Cooperation: Personnel and their carried items (tools, materials) are subject to inspection by venue security personnel upon entry.
